MarineProviders Solution fully supports the MTML standard defined
by the Maritime e-Commerce Association (MeCA). Suppliers can choose
to exchange documents via MarineProvider in MTML format. Suppliers
can perform their own integration with their existing systems or use
MarineProvider integration services to build MTML adaptors to those
systems. As buyers issue RFQs or POs, MarineProvider transforms
these documents from the original buyer format into MTML and
delivers them directly into the supplier system. As the supplier
releases a Quote, it is extracted as MTML, delivered to the
MarineProvider Solution, converted into the appropriate buyer
format, and delivered directly back into the buyer's purchasing
system.
